How long will my delivery take?

Depending on the size of your item, the delivery will take between 1 – 3 days (geographical restrictions apply). If your order is palletised we will call you following your order to confirm a date that is convenient for you to receive the goods.

I've paid for next day delivery, will my order be with me tomorrow?

We endeavour to get your items to you as fast as we can, so to ensure that we can pick them and package them appropriately we ask that large palletised items are ordered before 12pm (midday) and smaller items are ordered before 3.30pm.

Something has come up and I won't be around when my delivery arrives.

All items we deliver require a signature. If this is a problem please let us know by calling 0333 305 8200 as soon as possible and we will try and rearrange the delivery to a more convenient day. Please be aware that the courier may levy a charge for rearranging the delivery.

I live on a small street, how will my Bathroom Suite arrive?

All our large items or “palletised items” such as Bathroom Suites and Shower enclosures will arrive with a haulage firm. They will always attempt to deliver in a vehicle no bigger than 18 tonnes (about the size of a bin lorry). If this is still too big, please let us know in advance and we will arrange for a smaller vehicle for your delivery. Unfortunately, our couriers are not insured to enter your property and therefore will deliver your new bathroom as close to your property as possible, for this reason we ask that you have someone at hand to help receive the goods on your specified day.

I'm unsure how long my delivery will take and the cost for shipping.

You are more than welcome to call us on 0333 305 8200 Monday – Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm. We will happily run through the process and costs with you for extra peace of mind.

Can I collect my order from your warehouse?

Yes, when placing your order select the customer collection option, once your order is ready we will contact you to let you know it is ready for collection. If you need your order urgently, please contact us once you have placed your order with your order number, we can have this ready for you within an hour.

Our Warehouse opening times are Monday to Friday 6am - 7pm.

I have changed my mind and wish to return my order.

We offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Returning your purchase is easy, simply call our customer service team on 0333 305 8200 and our advisors will guide you through the returns procedure. Once your item has been returned to us in a resalable condition, unused and in its original packaging we will issue a refund for the goods within 5-7 days.

What to do when an item has arrived damaged.

In the unlikely event you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please email images to customer.service@bathroomtakeaway.co.uk with a brief overview or the problem along with your order number. We can then dispatch a new item or issue a refund for the goods supplied. We will also arrange for a carrier to collect the item from you and return it to us at no cost to you.

I have sent in an email, how long should it take to receive a reply?

We aim to reply to all e-mails the same day if received before 16:30 Monday – Friday. Any queries received after this time will be replied to the following working day.

Do our towel rails come with a guarantee?

Yes! All of our towel rails come with a standard 10 Year 'Fit & Forget' Guarantee giving you the ultimate peace of mind.

Do I need straight or angled valves for my towel rail?

The type of valve you will require depends on the installation of your towel rail. If your pipework is coming up from the ground, then generally straight radiator valves are used. Whereas if your pipework is coming from the wall at an angle, angled valves would be used. You will need to check the style of radiator to ensure this rule applies.

Do all radiators require 4 x brackets to fix to the wall?

It would depend on the size and style of the Towel Radiator, the images on the website will confirm this. The fitting instructions are generic so will advise that 4 are required.

What are the radiators made from?

The radiators are made from Carbon steel, the White Towel Rails are made from powder coated carbon steel.

Can this towel rail be used on a standard central heating system?

Yes our heated towel rails can be connected up like a normal radiator and all have high heat outputs - meaning they not only warm your towels, but your whole bathroom too.

Can this towel rail be converted to dual fuel?

Yes our heated towel rails can be run on two energy sources, meaning that you can have run the towel rail from your central heating in the winter and your electricity supply in the summer for warm towels all year round! *If using as dual fuel, the expansion / contraction is done inside the boiler system and usually has some sort of vessel for this to work correctly, as long as it is installed correctly.

What do I need to make my towel rail dual fuel?

All you need is one of our dual fuel kits and you're ready to go, see element sizing guide below.

What size element is required for the Towel Rail I’ve purchased?

Element sizing guide:

How are your heat outputs calculated?

Our heat outputs are all independently tested using EN442 regulations. Unlike other retailers, we give the true heat output rather than a fictitious figure. We recommend asking any retailer for the heat output certificate for a particular product.

What is the difference between Delta T50 and Delta T60 in relation to heat output?

Delta T50 is the European recognised standard for calculating heat outputs. All our radiators are measured at T50 temperature of 75°C. A heat output listed at Delta T60 needs to be multiplied by 0.79 to convert it to Delta T50.

Can my Heated Towel Rail be used as electric only?

Heated towel rails can be used as electric only. The element is to be fitted, (check out the sizing guide for the appropriate element below) and then the towel rail filled with 95% water and 5% inhibitor, leaving a 25ml gap at the top. If using as electric only (completely isolated), as long as the 25ml gap is left at the top there is no reason for it to overflow as such. The expansion and contracting is all done inside the radiator and can do so freely as long as there is a sufficient gap at the top of the rad. We do recommend that a qualified installer carries out the installation of your Electric Towel Rail.

What are the Electric Towel Rails filled with?

Water Glycol Solution – which is an anti-corrosive liquid.

Are the electric elements PTC?

Yes they are. Our elements offer a positive shut off which means it cannot overshoot on temperature causing scolding water. *You cannot have the element fitted at the top as the heat connects through the bottom and travels up. If it was to be installed at the top, the heat wouldn’t be able to circulate.

What IP rating are the electric radiators / elements?

All our electric radiators and elements are IP44 rated in Zone 2 area.

What type of waste do I require for my basin?

Basin wastes come either 'slotted' (for use with basins with an overflow hole), or 'unslotted' (for basins with no overflow).

My basin Tap clicks when raising the lever.

A number of our Mono Basin Mixers have a water saving feature with three settings: off, reduced flow and full flow. There is greater resistance to switch from reduced flow to full flow, encouraging use of water saving setting.
