With the days starting to get longer, the sun shining a little bit more, and blossom starting to appear on the trees, Spring is making its long awaited appearance.
When I think of Spring, I think of bright yellows, greens, and pinks. I think of tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils. I think of the smell of laundry drying in the breeze, of just-mown grass, of fresh cut flowers, and it wouldn't be Spring without a few April showers!
I like nothing more after the gloomy and cold winter, to bring a touch of the new season into my home, and one of the best ways to do this is with accessories. They are easy to switch out as each season comes and goes, and can be inexpensive too. The smallest room in the house is often one that gets overlooked, but there are several ways to bring Spring into your bathroom.
Change Your Towels
A brand new set of towels, is a good starting point for the new season. A sunny yellow, lime green, or a blossom pink would be perfect. Spring can have a chilly start, so there is nothing nicer after stepping out of the bath or shower, than a nice snuggly towel to wrap around yourself. Hanging over an Essentials Curved Towel Radiator, £54.97, they stay warm, and add a pop of colour to your bathroom.
If you use bath and pedestal mats, these can be changed to match too.
Use fragrance candles or diffusers to make the bathroom smell clean and fresh. I like jar candles, as they last for ages, and I don't have to worry about finding a stand for them, like you do with pillar candles. I also like diffusers as they emit their fragrance, without having to be supervised like candles do. Candles are nice to light when relaxing in the bath.

I always seem to match these products to the season. And if you like decanting your products, why not use a pretty soap dispenser? Searching Etsy Stores are a great way to find something a little bit unique too.

Fresh flowers are another nice way to add colour, and a touch of fragrance too. With cut blooms like daffodils, and tulips to potted flowers like hyacinths, and iris, which are all fairly inexpensive. Or why not a little bit of luxury with a pretty pink or white orchid?
I hope these ideas inspire you to bring Spring into your bathroom!
